Make course available to students- A study of the fundamental concepts, laws, and theories of chemistry, and the preparation and properties of the common elements and their compounds. The laboratory work illustrates fundamental principles; during the first semester it is semiquantitative in nature and the second semester has both semiquantitative experiments and qualitative analysis. Lecture/laboratory.
